Your Doctor may recommend physical therapy when you are in pain, recovering from surgery, or trying to avoid surgery. At Orthopedic Physical Therapy of Northern Virginia, our physical therapists provide experienced, one-on-one care to achieve your desired results. All of our therapists are certified to provide direct access so you can start feeling better and begin your recovery process quicker.

Payment and Claims
Co-payments, or any amount not covered by insurance can be made by personal check, cash, or credit card (VISA, Mastercard or Discover).
Major Medical Insurance: Physical therapy is covered under the Major Medical provision of health insurance.
Medicare Insurance: As a Medicare medical services provider, we submit all claims for our patients. Medicare requires an updated referral every 90 days from the date written on the referral.

About Dry Needling: Patients will need a prescription or signed/written consent from their doctor that says ‘Dry Needling’. Patients will receive no more than 3-4 visits max unless the dry needling is showing significant improvements that indicates more sessions are needed. Patient’s will need to fill out the form above and we will need to review it before scheduling an appointment.

You need to bring your physical therapy order or prescription, your insurance card, and a list of medications. You should wear comfortable clothing (non-restrictive) and shoes (i.e., sneakers).
All appointments will take approximately 40 minutes.
That is the patient's decision. Fortunately, we have five physical therapists trained in Fascial Counterstrain, ensuring patients receive the same high quality treatment from whomever they have an appointment.
We make every effort to make each treatment session beneficial with as little pain as possible. We do not believe in the "No pain - no gain theory".
Each insurance plan is different. Most plans will cover a portion of the cost and a co-pay is required for each session. Specific questions can be answered by contacting our front office staff.
